Goal-Oriented Level: Master

– “What happened to us was same.”
– “Yet, we emerged out of it differently.”
– “You emerged glorious. I faced disgrace.”
– “So was noted.”
– “Why such difference?”
– “I chose a response. You preferred reaction.”
– “What happened was disturbing to me.”
– “Wasn’t honeymoon for me either.”
– “It’s only natural I’d react to it in kind.”
– “No-one said it wasn’t natural.”
– “Were you not tempted for the same?”
– “Oh, surely I was tempted for violence.”
– “How did you avoid that temptation?”
– “I avoided nothing. I processed it.”
– “Meaning?”
– “I knew it was natural to react in kind.”
– “As we established. So?”
– “It got me thinking about Nature.”
– “What about it?”
– “What’s happening since The Big Bang?”
– “Birth of universe? It’s been expanding.”
– “Is it addition or disintegration?”
– “I fail to understand.”
– “Is the expansion a result of new additions?”
– “No. It’s loosening. Result of a stretch.”
– “So it’s disintegration rather than expansion?”
– “I’d say so. Tells you what about Nature?”
– “Left to nature, things break down.”
– “Uh, yes. Entropy, they call it.”
– “So, is naturalness of reactions affordable?”
– “Oh… Not if we don’t wish disintegration.”
– “I didn’t. I have goals. I needed integration.”
– “How do you manage that?”
– “By choice of a response. Can be one of two.”
– “What’s the first?”
– “Check if I can mould negativity to positivity.”
– “As you did today. But what if you couldn’t?”
– “I’d avoid wasting time and energy fighting it.”
– “So you let your goal select a response, huh?”
– “As opposed to letting my pride do it, yes.”
– “Do you not feel hurt to your self-respect?”
– “Oh, I do. Fact that I can feel it educates me.”
– “Educates you? What does it tell you?”
– “That there’s still one unfortified place in me.”
– “As it’ll still be if you obey those temptations?”
– “It’ll strengthen if I buy time to focus within.”
– “You use negativity as fuel for self growth.”
– “That’s why we feel things. It’s data. I use it.”
