Being adult means…
- knowing others may think differently;
- accepting that difference;
- realizing we can agree to disagree;
- unlearning the sense of enmity born out of it;
- understanding that such a sense is unnecessary;
- remembering, acceptance differs to agreement;
- asserting, acceptance doesn’t mean surrender;
- maintaining your uniqueness;
- respecting it in others too;
- learning that friendship needs similarity,
not exactness; - leaving disagreements limited to that point;
- growing from ‘me’ to ‘we’;
- loving each other simply for being human.
